This Eucharistic Celebration was the highlight of the pilgrimage. The 8:45 AM Sunday Mass was assigned to us and we were given a special seating space, a kind of enclosed area connected to the sanctuary but separated from the rest of the congregation, just below the image of the Black Madonna. We gathered at the Sacristy and from there went to our seats. We started singing the entrance hymn ENTER, REJOICE AND COME IN... as we moved from the Sacristy to the Church. Schade talaga, bawal picture taking.. hehehe. (alam mo naman, lalagnatin ang Pinoy pag di nakakuha ng pectyurs...) We sang beautifully the different Mass songs, had the Mass in English but we recited the AMA NAMIN in Tagalog. Lahat sila nakatitig sa atin. For a while it sounded differently for them who are used only to the Polish language. Tapos umaalingawngaw sa buong nasasakupan yung boses ni Fr. Ron, pati na yung pagkanta kasi nga loud speakers are all over the place.

For sure, nabulabog ang congregation when, as a PGG tradition, we clapped to the Lord after the dismissal. Hindi naman sila sanay na may pumapalakpak, ang tahi-tahimik pa naman nung place. But they clapped with us!!! Ang Pinoy talaga, mabilis magbigay buhay sa events! hehehe

After the song GIVE THANKS and while going out of our enclosed area, but still inside the Church, the group started singing AVE MARIA, a song of universal fame and so you can imagine everyone singing with us while looking at us with smiles on their faces. It spoke a lot to us! Ang sarap ng feeling.

After the Mass, medyo kanya-kanyang lakad at diskarte na. We met at 1 PM and headed for the concentration camp in Auschwitz

We all are in need of God’s healing. Let us pray that God may touch us and open our minds and hearts to his teaching and to the needs of our brothers and sisters. Let us pray: Lord, touch us with your grace.
1 — Lord, through the intercession of Mother Mary in the image of the Black Madonna, may every priest grow daily in his commitment to Christ and the Church, so to lead the flock entrusted to his care to Christ the Good Shep¬herd. We pray:
2 — Lord, through the intercession of Mother Mary in the image of the Black Madonna, heal our Church and government leaders that they may open their eyes to our people’s problems and suffer¬ings and seek to remedy them. We pray:
3 — Lord, through the intercession of Mother Mary in the image of the Black Madonna, attend to the lonely, the handicapped, and those who are entangled in the web of sin that they may experience the fullness of your salvation. We pray:
4 — Lord, through the intercession of Mother Mary in the image of the Black Madonna, lead all husbands and wives to a holy life of loving, sharing and forgiving together with their children. We pray:
5 — Lord, through the intercession of Mother Mary in the image of the Black Madonna, may we grow in Christian concern and charity to help those who suffer in anyway, especially our brothers and sisters in the Philippines. We pray:
Father, hear our prayers and heal us. Help us to listen patiently, to speak kindly, to see truly, and to act rightly. We ask this through Christ our Lord. All — Amen.

MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS, pray for us and for the whole world!
